I just purchased a pair of OA-2212 and they still have the xlr 4 pin connectors. I need to change them. What is the best connector to use, and where do the 4 wires go??? Most connectors have only solder connections for 2 wires. I apologize if this has been covered already but I cannot read Swedish.

It is active. At least in Sweden. It shows that cable connector (female) pin 1 AND 2 are connected to ground (-) and pin 3 AND 4 are connected to signal (+).

Yes, I have read it. I do not have the original speaker connectors, and it is difficult to find 4 pin xlr. And it appears that a new, larger and gold plated connector is recommended.

I can find 4 pin xlr terminals on line somewhere. But what about the recommended upgrade? Something with a larger contact surface? And something that is more current that works with gold plated rca or banana plug inputs on the back of my amplifier?
