best paint for speakers-question 2

I want to paint my carlsson speakers. they are 30 years old and a bit scratched, also i want them not to stand out so much in my room so i am thinking the same colour as the walls (champagne) in a high gloss finish.
they are wood veneer so i suspect i nedd to give them a very light sanding to get the paint to stick.

PS i'm not sure which model i have, i suspect the OA51 or maybe a OA21. they measure 43 wide x 29.7 high x 25 deep and weigh around 10 kg.
