Why do my OD-11 go lower than my OA-14 ??

I have even swapped the bass driver thinking that the ones in the OA-14 were faulty. But still, the smaller OD-11 has better bass reproduction.

The only thing i can think of is a crossover problem in the OA-14. But what kind of crossover problem can make weak bass? I thought that the crossover only had an effect on the tweeter response.

The speakers are still listenable, but when compared to other speakers (even the OD-11's) the difference is obvious. The bass drivers are working, just not as expected.

Does anyone have advice for me?

Hi

A few things to check are perhaps:

- Leaking boxes?
- Woofers connected out of phase
- Bad connections?
- Are the OA-14 modified in any way?
- Difficult room? (have you tried moving them to other positions)

Sorry to only give more questions

Best regards

Martin
