Hi everyone,
Over the last couple of days, our hosting provider has been faced with DDoS attacks (Distributed Denial-of-Service). This means that there is an organised attack on one or more of their web servers, and that attack simply consists of sending so much (pointless) traffic to the site so that the server crashes or at least becomes unavailable. The attacks are not directed at us or at our hosting provider, but probably against one or more of their other clients.
You can read more about what a DDoS attack is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
This is the reason as to why the site has been going up and down throughout the recent days. There is unfortunately not much we can do except wait while our hosting provider continues to fight these attacks.
Kind regards,
Jonathan
