SONAB Clone - Pataco Loudspeakers

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In keeping with that statement, perhaps the folks at Swiss Pataco loudspeakers had SONABs on their mind once upon a time. Quite by accident I came across these:

This is one of the closest copies I've seen for a long time. Have you had the opportunity to see if they are still producing or if it's old?

Hello Martin, I don't know the first thing about the company but entering their name into a search engine reveals it remains in existence - www.pataco.com Whether they still make a SONAB clone is unknown, and I would say their own effort was produced in the late 70's to early 80's during the styles' highest popularity for sales reasons. It looks like they are more of an A/V Conference / Interactive Retail showcase equipment provider now.

Hi,
There were German "clones" also. This it the second in a short time offered on eBay. It is called "T + A Elektroakustik Herford, Modell Delta 50B ", but it is by far no longer in their programme. On the other hand, it is not soo old, that there is historic information on it on their webpage either.
