I have a set of 116's and would like to buy either a crossover rebuild kit or two new complete working crossovers.

What is it you want to do with your speakers?
Restore or upgrade?
Do you still have the old filters?
What tweeters are mounted on the speakers?

With some more info we can give you better help.

There are, as I see it, two main Courses of action:
- restoration with the old Peerless tweeters MT24HFC (can be MT20HFC if it is an early production).
- Upgrade with the new tweeter OBI T22oa http://www.hifikit.se/hogtalarelement/h ... ant/t22-oa

Please enlighten us and we'll try to give some better advice.

Hi Martin: Thanks for getting back to me. My speakers are still equipped with original tweeters and all I want to do is restore what I have. The lower woofer on my left speaker is not working, though the driver itself is fine (checked). I hope that helps. I look forward to hearing back from you as to what you can do for me.

Hello

Start by checking all the leads in the bottom of the loudspeaker. There you have the first part of the crossover that is relevant for the woofer.
You have to look/test a bit but it should not be too difficult.
