OD11 Power Handling

I have two OD11's hooked up as a Centre speaker for my Home Theatre sytem. I am currently running a Rotel RSX 1056 which supplies about 100 watts of Power. My question is that I am looking at a Rotel RB-992 which is a three channel Power Amp to run my three front Channels. I have my OD11's set up so...

OA-14 Questions

Daz I may be able to help you here. I will get one of my spare drivers out of storage tommorrow and email you with any identification marks. If they are the same I could take one down to Tom one day next week (its about 7 miles away if you still use miles in England) . By physically seeing the speak...

OA-14 Questions

Daz Martin suggested Speakerbits; they are in Melbourne, Australia and yes Martin is right they have all sorts of spiders, surrounds, etc. I know Tom who runs the place so I if you would like make some initial enquiries if you could tell me what driver its for. Sonab's seem to be more popular here no...

One further thing after reading your question. The 833429 has foam surrounds against rubber surrounds fir the 833599 and I believe the 831881 (which would be my driver of choice). I don't know where you live but "foam rot" is a real problem in this part of the world (Australia) as evidentl...

Christian I had a similar problem getting the 831881 (SC165)'s in Australia. I tried to import two but they got lost in transit. The recommended "Woofer" is the 831881, and Carlsson recommends that you use that one which is available from HiFi Kit, http://www.hifikit.se. However get onto t...

Geoff A quick reply I joined two of my OD11's together yesteday. As far as your statement about people saying you are wacked , that should not be the case as the OD11 hanbook suggests this method for joining two set of speakers together. There is a copy of the manual I think on the actual Carlsssonp...

Geoff Firstly you mentioned Australia. Do you live here and if you did where did you get your Carlsson's. I have been looking around for about a year and have found none. 2. I am using one OD11 as a centre and OA14's as Main Speakers. You mentioned wiring two OD 11's together. Can this be done? Will...

I asked a similar question a few months ago regarding my OD11's which had pretty poor insulation I received the following reply from "12bjorn" who is I believe a CarlssonPlanet "team Member". I wanted to put wool in mine but after receiving the reply below I kept the fibreglass. ...

RE: My previous post, The number I gave for the B65oa 8 Ohm is the same as that shown on the HifiKit site. The sentence read wrong ; it should have read " I know if this number is wrong somebody will correct it." Good Luck, the tweeters will really lift those speakers.
